2019 Grand Opening of Heritage River Landing which becomes the interpretive headquarters for the Northern Plains National Heritage Area, one of 49 National Heritage Areas within the National Park Service family. 

2018 Spring ground breaking with excavation, fill, and concrete construction; summer time construction of superstructure; autumn/winter soft opening. 

2017 Phase II Heritage River Landing $1.5 million capital campaign, John Warford and David Sprynczynatyk capital campaign chairs; Foundation hires Develop-ment Director and rebrands as the Missouri Valley Heritage Alliance. 

2016 Phase I of Heritage River Landing Capital Campaign complete. 

2015 Foundation hires new Executive Director and embarks on Heritage River Land-ing capital campaign 

2012 Foundation completed mission at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park, donating $300,000 of infrastructure to state park. 

2009 Northern Plains National Heritage Area established (U.S. Public Law 111-11), elevating city, county, state, Federal and non-profit public heritage sites and the Missouri River in central North Dakota to a national profile 

2008 Purchased Lewis & Clark Riverboat to keep and operate it in the state of North Dakota. 

2005 Built Cavalry Stable and 6th earthlodge at On-A-Slant Village at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park 

2004 Hosted the national Circle of Cultures Lewis & Clark Bicentennial signature event 

1995 Approached by the North Dakota Indian Arts Association to buy Five Nations Arts 

1994 Designed and implemented interpretive program at On-A-Slant Village 

1992 Built the Granary and Infantry Barracks 

1991 Built the Commissary Storehouse 

1989 Built the Commanding Officer’s Quarters (“Custer’s House”) 

1983 Fort Abraham Lincoln Foundation established as a 501(c)3
